XR System Test Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated System Integration and Test Engineer to validate and automate testing of multi-media features for next-generation XR, wearable, and mobile platforms. You will develop validation strategies, design test methodologies, build automation frameworks, and analyze performance KPIs across audio, camera, sensor, AI, and connectivity features on low-power subsystems.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute validation plans for low-power subsystems.
• Define comprehensive test strategies covering audio, sensors, display, connectivity, and AI inference pipelines.
• Create detailed test matrices for functional, performance, stress, and stability scenarios.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks specifically for LPAI feature validation.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD continuous validation pipelines.
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions for data visibility.
• Analyze logs, traces, telemetry, and sensor data to debug complex failures.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, AI/ML, and system teams to resolve issues rapidly.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in system testing, validation, or automation.
• Strong Python programming skills with extensive test framework knowledge.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Android environments.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in using logs, traces, and debugging tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience validating embedded systems, DSPs, XR devices, mobile platforms, or AI models.
• Familiarity with sensor technologies including IMU, Camera, and GNSS.
• Skill in AI/ML validation and model benchmarking.
• Knowledge of Qualcomm-specific hardware (DSP, Hexagon, LPAI) and low-power subsystems.
• Understanding of power measurement tools and methodologies.
