XR Perception Systems Engineer

Join the world-class XR Perception team at Qualcomm India Private Limited in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India. We are seeking passionate innovators to research and develop fundamental perception algorithms for self-contained XR platforms. You will contribute to building robust XR solutions by working with Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) building blocks, applying Machine Learning/Deep Learning techniques to enhance the perception stack, and implementing efficient, optimized algorithms in C++.

Your responsibilities will include understanding and analyzing requirements for XR perception systems, and contributing to state-of-the-art, power-efficient XR perception algorithms optimized for Qualcomm hardware. We value excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in linear algebra, probability, multi-view geometry, deep learning applied to computer vision, sensor fusion, and object-oriented programming in C++.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of work experience, OR Master's degree in a similar field with relevant experience, OR PhD degree in a similar field.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, OR PhD. Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python is required.
