Role Overview
We are seeking a driven Software Engineer for our Chennai hub (India) at the associate level. This role is based in India with all normal working days carried out on-site.
Daily Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions within a feature team.
- Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform to produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality that adds value to the business.
- Collaborate on optimizing our software engineering capability.
- Take ownership of the full lifecycle: initial development, enhancement, maintenance, replacement, or decommissioning.
Your Skills
To succeed in this role, you need a strong background in software engineering and architecture supporting customers. You must have 4 to 7 years of experience in Java development with at least 2 hands-on years on Java 17, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and Micro Services.
We also look for:
- Experience with Maven, Junit, Mockito, Oracle SQL, GitLab, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of Java design patterns and OAuth 2.0 based security.
Desirable experience includes working on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
