Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Workday Business Systems Analyst / Product Owner to act as the key bridge between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical support teams. In this pivotal role, you will analyze complex business processes, drive optimization strategies, manage product backlogs, and lead critical release management initiatives within the Workday ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between Talent Acquisition, People Services, and technical production support teams for Workday HCM and Recruiting modules.
- Analyze, design, and optimize business processes to significantly improve operational efficiency and end-user experience.
- Takle ownership of the product intake backlog, prioritizing enhancements while translating diverse business needs into precise functional requirements.
- Lead comprehensive Workday release management activities, including impact analysis, testing coordination, and ensuring deployment readiness.
- Develop and execute clear, timely communication strategies for releases to keep all stakeholders and end-users informed.
- Ensure system configurations strictly align with evolving business goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Requirements
You must hold Workday certifications in both HCM and Recruiting. Proven experience as a BSA or Product Owner supporting Workday HCM is essential, along with strong understanding of Talent Acquisition and HR operations. You should have hands-on experience managing Workday release cycles, testing protocols, and change management initiatives. Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools such as Airtable, Confluence, Jira, and the MS Suite are required.
