WordPress Website Developer

We are looking for a talented and creative WordPress Website Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites that precisely meet our clients' needs and expectations. You will collaborate closely with our clients and our dedicated design team to translate their visions into reality by creating custom WordPress themes and plugins.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing custom WordPress websites.
• Theme and Plugin Customization: Adapt existing WordPress themes and plugins or develop new ones to fulfill specific project requirements.
• Content Management: Effectively manage and update website content, including text, images, and multimedia.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance website performance to ensure rapid loading times and an optimal user experience.
• Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement robust SEO best practices to boost website visibility and search engine rankings.
• Security: Safeguard websites by implementing top security practices, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and staying current with the latest security threats.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing to identify and resolve bugs, compatibility issues, and other technical challenges.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with designers, content creators, and other team members to align on project goals and timelines.
• Client Communication: Engage with clients to gather requirements, provide project status updates, and offer technical support.
• Training: Educate clients or team members on the effective use and updating of their WordPress websites.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, WordPress updates, and best practices to continuously refine skills and enhance projects.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a WordPress Developer with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with MySQL and database management.
• Strong understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and adhere to project deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of website security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with popular page builders like Elementor and Beaver Builder.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and plugins, such as WooCommerce.
• Previous experience in website performance optimization.
• Proven ability in creating and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.
• Understanding of mobile app development (iOS/Android).
• Familiarity with design software like Adobe Creative Suite.

Education

A degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory. Relevant professional experience and a strong portfolio are highly valued.

This role is hybrid, involving remote work and on-site presence in Vikhroli, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
