WordPress Developer & SEO Executive

Nippon Data Systems Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated WordPress Developer with a strong specialization in SEO and digital marketing. This role is ideal for a candidate passionate about building high-performance, growth-oriented websites that excel in lead generation and online visibility. You will collaborate with design and marketing teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom, lightweight, and scalable WordPress themes from UI/UX designs (Figma, PSD).
• Create and maintain custom WordPress plugins to enhance website functionality.
• Ensure websites are SEO-friendly, mobile-responsive, and adhere to W3C standards.
• Integrate tracking pixels, conversion scripts, and campaign tools in collaboration with marketing teams.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and Core Web Vitals.
• Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Facebook Pixel for tracking and analysis.
• Perform regular site updates, backups, and essential maintenance tasks.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve website-related issues efficiently.
• Manage hosting environments, server migrations, and domain configurations.
• Implement on-page SEO elements including schema markup, meta tags, and sitemaps.

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PHP, WordPress Core, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Extensive experience with custom plugin development, including hooks, filters, and shortcodes.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
• Experience with custom post types (CPTs), taxonomies, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Familiarity with MySQL and database optimization techniques.
• Working knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• REST API integration experience is advantageous.

SEO & Digital Marketing Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of on-page SEO best practices (meta titles/descriptions, heading structure, schema, internal linking).
• Experience with SEO plugins like Yoast SEO, Rank Math, or All-in-One SEO.
• Ability to set up and manage Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Search Console, and Facebook Pixel.
• Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles and landing page setup.
• Basic knowledge of email marketing integrations (e.g., Mailchimp, Sendinblue).
• Awareness of performance auditing tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTMetrix.

Bonus / Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Gutenberg Block Editor and Full Site Editing (FSE).
• Knowledge of headless WordPress development (with React, Next.js).
• Experience with multilingual websites using WPML or Polylang.
• Familiarity with marketing funnels, CRMs, and automation tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred), or a Diploma in Digital Marketing.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in WordPress custom development.
• Proven experience in developing SEO-integrated websites and digital marketing campaigns.

Salary: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Experience Required: WordPress development: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In-person in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
