WordPress Developer Position in Salt Lake, Kolkata

SB Infowaves is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong foundation in HTML to join our team in Salt Lake, Kolkata. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and user-friendly websites. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with WordPress theme customization, plugin integration, and front-end development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins according to project specifications.
• Translate design mockups (PSD/Figma/XD) into responsive WordPress websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure website responsiveness for mobile devices and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and search engine visibility.
• Identify and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Perform website updates, backups, and implement security measures.
• Collaborate with design and content teams on website improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript.
• Experience with WordPress theme development and customization.
• Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor and WPBakery.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Experience with hosting, domain management, and cPanel is advantageous.
