About the Role

Krishna Infotech, a growing IT company based in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join their team. This is an in-person, permanent role focused on building and maintaining high-quality WordPress websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dynamic WordPress websites.
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
• Create and implement responsive website designs that adapt seamlessly to various devices.
• Manage website updates, perform regular backups, and ensure robust security measures are in place.
• Optimize website speed and performance for enhanced user experience and search engine ranking.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs and technical issues promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with SEO and digital marketing teams to align website development with marketing strategies.
• Handle basic website hosting, domain management, and cPanel operations.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in WordPress development and its ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of fundamental web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP basics.
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Ability to install and customize WordPress plugins.
• Skills in website speed optimization techniques.
• Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce for e-commerce development is considered a significant advantage.

Qualifications

• Graduates or Diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
• Previous WordPress development experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Freshers with demonstrable strong WordPress skills are welcome to apply.
