WordPress Developer - Guires Solutions Pvt Ltd, Chennai

Guires Solutions Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time WordPress Developer to join their team in Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role requires at least 1 year of experience in WordPress development.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Maintenance & Error Resolution: Identify and fix on-page and WordPress-specific errors, including plugin conflicts, layout issues, and responsiveness problems. Monitor site performance and promptly address downtime, broken links, or script errors.
• New Page Development: Design and build custom pages using WordPress page builders like Elementor or WPBakery, or through custom coding. Ensure all new pages are SEO-friendly, responsive, and optimized for speed and performance.
• Content Management: Regularly update and manage website content, including text, images, videos, and downloads. Collaborate with content and design teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Site Performance Optimization: Monitor and maintain high site performance scores using tools like Google PageSpeed and GTMetrix. Optimize code, images, scripts, and databases for improved load times and user experience.
• Asset Management: Update visual and downloadable assets such as banners, brochures, and case studies across the website. Maintain an organized media library for easy access.
• Team Collaboration & Coordination: Work with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and content writers, to execute web projects. May involve leading or mentoring junior developers or interns.
• Campaign Integration & Planning: Assist in implementing landing pages, forms, and tracking for marketing campaigns. Integrate third-party tools like Mailchimp, Google Analytics, and Facebook Pixel for campaign tracking.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git is a plus.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and efficiently.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

This is a full-time, in-person position. The salary starts from ₹25,000.00 per month.
