WordPress Developer Opportunity at Dechub in Bengaluru / Remote

Dechub is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. This full-time role focuses on the development, customization, and maintenance of WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and security. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and marketing professionals to create modern, intuitive websites for a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Translate UI/UX designs (from tools like Figma) into responsive WordPress pages.
• Customize existing themes and plugins to align with project specifications.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and search engine visibility (SEO).
• Implement website security measures, manage backups, and ensure timely updates.
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and marketing tools.
• Work collaboratively with designers and backend developers to implement new features.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce development.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
