Job Summary

We are looking for a talented individual who can seamlessly blend WordPress development with UI/UX design. The ideal candidate will be adept at building high-performing websites that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. You will be instrumental in creating engaging online experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive WordPress websites from initial concept to final execution, utilizing themes or building from scratch.
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements and design aesthetics.
• Create compelling website layouts, intuitive UI elements, and engaging graphics that enhance user experience.
• Translate design mockups (Figma, PSD) into fully functional and responsive WordPress websites.
• Optimize websites for speed, search engine visibility (SEO), and seamless performance across all devices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve website issues and bugs efficiently.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow developers, designers, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain and update existing WordPress websites and their content to ensure relevance and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development and design.
• Proficient understanding of the WordPress CMS, including themes and plugin development/customization.
• Solid experience with core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Hands-on experience with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.
• A foundational understanding of UI/UX design principles to create user-centric interfaces.
• Proven ability in responsive design techniques and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices specifically for WordPress websites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in developing e-commerce solutions, particularly with WooCommerce.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop for visual design tasks.
• Basic knowledge of website hosting environments and domain management.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
