Role Overview: WordPress Developer (Chennai)

About Us: We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on coding experience to design, develop, and maintain high-quality websites, plugins, and themes. This role requires strong expertise in WordPress core architecture and proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3.

Key Responsibilities

• Development: Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch based on project requirements.
• Maintenance & Optimization: Build, enhance, and maintain WordPress websites ensuring optimal performance. Optimize for speed, scalability, and responsiveness across devices.
• Integration: Integrate third-party APIs with WordPress sites and troubleshoot integration issues.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have (3+ Years):

• Languages: WordPress, Intermediate PHP, HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS.
• CMS Tools: Elementor experience is a must. Deep understanding of core actions/filters and template hierarchy.
• E-Commerce: Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify is required.
• Deployment & Security: Knowledge of cPanel, cloud platforms (Hostinger), caching, and CDN security best practices.
• Design Translation: Ability to build CMS for static sites and convert designs from Figma/FXD files into functional code with strong attention to CSS detail.

Soft Skills & Qualifications:

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT preferred.
• Certifications in web development are advantageous.
