WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled and performance-focused WordPress Developer to manage, develop, optimize, and maintain WordPress websites and landing page ecosystems.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in custom WordPress development, responsive UI implementation, website optimization, plugin integrations, and production support. The role requires someone who can independently handle website enhancements, troubleshooting, maintenance workflows, and performance optimization while ensuring stability, security, and scalability across production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive WordPress websites
• Customize themes, templates, plugins, and website features based on business and marketing requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues
• Buil d reusable and scalable website sections and layouts

Website Maintenance & Operations:

• Manage WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates
• Handle website migrations, backups, and deployment activities
• Execute bug fixes, content updates, and production support tasks
• Perform website QA and maintenance checklist validations
• Monitor website uptime and overall functionality

Performance Optimization:

• Optimize websites for Core Web Vitals and PageSpeed performance
• Improve website loading speed and responsiveness
• Configure caching, CDN, image optimization, and asset optimization
• Monitor and improve performance across devices and browsers

Security & Compliance:

• Maintain website security standards and vulnerability protection
• Support compliance-related implementations when required
• Monitor and resolve security vulnerabilities and plugin risks

Third-Party Integrations:

• Integrate and configure third-party plugins and tools
• Support WooCommerce and payment-related integrations
• Implement chatbot, accessibility, cookie policy, and marketing tools
• Support landing page and marketing platform integrations

Testing & QA:

• Perform responsive testing across devices and browsers
• Verify UI consistency and interactive functionality
• Ensure smooth deployment and release management processes

Documentation & Collaboration:

• Prepare release notes and implementation documentation
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams
• Participate in technical planning and enhancement discussions

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in WordPress development and maintenance
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
• Experience with Elementor and WooCommerce ecosystem
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with website optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements
• Familiarity with WordPress security and performance best practices
• Experience with website migrations, backups, and deployment workflows
• Basic knowledge of SEO implementation and website accessibility standards
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, cPanel, and hosting environments
• Basic server and terminal/SSH knowledge for WordPress troubleshooting and configuration
• Experience managing WordPress environments on AWS, GoDaddy, or similar hosting platforms

Referred Skills:

• Experience with HubSpot or landing page platforms
• Familiarity with caching/CDN tools and performance optimization workflows
• Understanding of staging and production deployment processes
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development and productivity tools such as ChatGPT and other AI tools commonly used within the WordPress ecosystem for development, research, debugging, documentation, and workflow efficiency
• Familiarity with version control concepts and collaborative development workflows is a plus
• Experience working with staging and live production environments
• Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve website-related issues
• Ability to coordinate with marketing, design, and content teams for implementation requirements
• Experience with third-party plugin integrations and payment gateway implementations
