Webflow Developer & Theme Customization Specialist (3+ Years Experience)

MetaDesign Solutions is seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Webflow Developer with over 3 years of hands-on experience. This role focuses on building, customizing, and optimizing modern websites. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Webflow, Framer, theme customization, and the development of fully custom commercial websites from inception. Experience with AI tools for design, productivity, and workflow automation is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites utilizing Webflow, Framer, and contemporary frontend technologies.
• Construct and enhance themes, templates, and reusable UI components to ensure scalability, consistency, and maintainability.
• Create entirely bespoke website themes and layouts from the ground up, tailored to specific client or business requirements.
• Translate designs from Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible web pages.
• Implement advanced UI experiences, including micro-interactions, sophisticated animations, fluid transitions, and interactive components.
• Design and optimize commercial/business websites with a strong emphasis on UI/UX and conversion-driven principles.
• Manage Webflow CMS structures, collections, forms, and dynamic content integrations.
• Integrate third-party tools, plugins, analytics platforms, and automation workflows.
• Ensure all websites adhere to performance, SEO, accessibility, Core Web Vitals, and cross-browser compatibility standards.
• Maintain a clean, modular, and scalable code architecture, following established frontend best practices.
• Identify and resolve frontend issues, layout discrepancies, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, developers, marketers, and product teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences.
• Utilize version control systems such as Git and adhere to structured development workflows.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to enhance content structuring, design ideation, coding efficiency, and overall workflow productivity.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends in no-code/low-code development, Webflow, Framer, and modern web design methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of dedicated Webflow development experience.
• Substantial hands-on experience in theme customization and template modifications.
• Demonstrated expertise in building custom themes from scratch.
• Proven experience in developing commercial/business websites for clients or brands.
• Proficiency in Framer.
• A robust understanding of responsive design principles, UI/UX best practices, and website performance optimization.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development practices is a significant advantage.
• Experience with CMS setup, form management, integrations, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Midjourney, or similar productivity platforms.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and an ownership mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• A portfolio showcasing live Webflow/Framer projects.
• Experience with eCommerce, SaaS, or lead generation websites.
• Understanding of SEO best practices and effective website growth strategies.
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
