Web Integrations Support Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Web Integrations Support Engineer for our Professional Services team. You will ensure the sustainable and scalable integration of Smartling's GDN (web proxy) solutions, adapting to evolving customer site requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Owning customer tickets end-to-end with clear root-cause analysis and next steps.
• Running troubleshooting sessions and workshops for engineering teams on best practices.
• Escalating issues to Engineering with precise reproduction steps.
• Building scripts and tooling to accelerate diagnosis and configuration safely.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to recommend sustainable solutions.
• Making careful, safe changes to live production configurations with rollback plans.
• Acting quickly when customers are affected while managing scope ambiguity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Support, Solutions Consultant).
• Strong proficiency with HTTP, HTML/CSS selectors, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
• Expertise in browser DevTools, network debugging, proxies, CDNs, DNS/TLS, caching, and web security basics.
• Comfortable writing scripts (JavaScript/Python/Bash) using regular expressions.
• Experience with log analysis tools like Quickwit, Grafana, Kibana, or Splunk.

Prefereed Skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js).
• CMS experience (AEM, Sitecore, WordPress, Contentful).
• Web server configuration knowledge (Nginx) and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience in localization/internationalization and multi-language environments.
