Junior Web Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

About the Role:

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Build responsive and mobile-friendly web pages tailored to client needs.
• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify themes for optimal performance.
• Integrate third-party plugins, apps, and APIs seamlessly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance concerns efficiently.
• Perform regular website updates, backups, and maintenance activities to ensure uptime.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices to boost visibility.
• Coordinate with designers and marketing teams to implement comprehensive website requirements.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility across all platforms.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and responsive design principles.
• Basic proficiency in PHP and MySQL.
• Proven experience customizing WordPress themes/plugins and Shopify apps.
• Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel), domain management, and SSL implementation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with WooCommerce for e-commerce solutions.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git/GitHub.
• Knowledge of page builders such as Elementor or WPBakery.
• Understanding of website security protocols and performance optimization techniques.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
