Role Overview

As an Ecommerce Web Developer joining our team in Mumbai, you will help build the technology powering our portfolio of niche brands. You will work on Shopify storefronts, custom applications, AI-powered workflows, and business automation that directly impact company growth. Collaborate with designers, marketers, ecommerce managers, and developers to deliver fast, reliable digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Shopify storefronts and custom e-commerce functionality for diverse brands in India.
• Build responsive web interfaces using modern frameworks tailored to various consumer needs.
• Collaborate with designers on projects ranging from home goods retail platforms to service business portals.
• Create custom features, integrations, and internal apps supporting our growing portfolio.
• Integrate third-party APIs relevant to the Indian market landscape.
• Troubleshoot bugs across multiple brand sites ensuring high stability for local customers.
• Optimize speed, SEO (local search), accessibility, and performance for diverse devices.
• Write clean code following engineering best practices suitable for a multi-brand environment.
• Simplify manual workflows through automation opportunities specific to our operations.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional web development experience with Shopify expertise (bonus skills: Framer, WordPress).
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with React or modern frontend frameworks used by leading tech companies.
• Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating for rapid e-commerce deployment.
• Understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations common to digital marketing arms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, open to self-taught developers in Mumbai who demonstrate strong portfolio skills.
