Role Overview: MERN Stack Web Developer & Executive Assistant

Factor Street is seeking a versatile Web Developer to serve as an assistant to the CEO/CTO. This unique role blends high-level software engineering with administrative, operational, and client-facing responsibilities. Based in Bellahalli, Bangalore, you will contribute to end-to-end web application development while supporting corporate strategy and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Web Development: Architect and maintain scalable MERN stack applications (React, Express/Next.js, MongoDB).
• System Design: Assist in establishing coding standards, system optimization, and cloud deployment via AWS and Digital Ocean.
• Administrative & Operations: Manage office documentation, schedules, meeting coordination, and Google-based research.
• Business Development: Support customer support, lead-to-sale conversions, and represent the brand at corporate meetups and educational events.

Requirements

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Express, MongoDB, Git, and VS Code. Experience with AI coding assistants (OpenAI Codex, Claude, Co-pilot) is highly valued.
• Flexibility: Must be willing to work from the Bangalore office 6 days a week and travel as required for business needs.
• Soft Skills: Fluent in English or Hindi with excellent communication skills.
