Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in developing modern web applications.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS (including SCSS), and JavaScript.
• Experience with JavaScript component libraries.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Skilled in creating responsive user interfaces adaptable to diverse devices and browsers.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Commitment to accessibility in all development aspects.
• Strong grasp of web performance optimization for complex user interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with UX, designers, and server-side developers.
• Demonstrated curiosity and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
• Must be based in EMEA time zones (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
• University degree or equivalent educational background.

Beneficial Experience

• Familiarity with Linux desktop technologies.
• Experience with server-side languages like Python or NodeJS.
• Experience on large-scale React projects using TypeScript.
• A track record of open-source contributions.
• Relevant professional work experience.

Team Responsibilities

• Develop high-fidelity websites and web applications utilizing the latest HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript (React and TypeScript).
• Maintain existing projects, including content updates and adding new pages.
• Manage incoming requests for updates, liaising with or delegating to team members as needed.
• Ensure the consistent high quality and standard of output across our product portfolio.
• Publish new pages according to specifications and in adherence to our web style guide.
• Contribute to and participate in the development of our living style guide, Vanilla Framework.
• Collaborate closely with UX and visual designers to implement exceptional user experiences.
