Are you passionate about Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and solving real-world problems? DwarfEye Labs is expanding its team in Chennai, India and seeking a hands-on AI/ML Engineer (Computer Vision & Video Intelligence).

This role offers an opportunity to build, optimize, deploy, and continuously improve AI models that transform existing CCTV feeds into actionable insights. You will work on real-world video intelligence solutions across multiple business verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build Computer Vision Models: Design, develop, train, evaluate, and optimize ML/DL models for video analytics use cases (people detection, tracking, behavior analysis, footfall, queues, theft detection, safety compliance).
• Production & Edge Deployment: Convert trained models into reliable real-time inference pipelines optimized for edge computing environments.
• Model Improvement: Analyze model performance in live environments and continuously enhance accuracy, stability, and scalability using proper annotation and retraining workflows.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Guide team members, review technical work, solve complex challenges, and drive effective project execution. Explore new CV techniques to strengthen the company's capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–3 years (or up to 5) in AI/ML with strong exposure to Computer Vision and Video Analytics.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python, OpenCV, PyTorch/TensorFlow. Experience with YOLO or similar object detection frameworks for tracking and processing image/video data.
• Digital Literacy: Strong understanding of deep learning concepts, model evaluation metrics, optimization techniques, and real-time inference constraints.

Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with Edge AI deployment pipelines. Ability to take full ownership of modules from data ingestion through production deployment.
