Vulnerability Management Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Vulnerability Management Engineer to join our security team in India. In this role, you will play a critical part in protecting our infrastructure by identifying, assessing, and remediating security vulnerabilities across our on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform recurring and on-demand security scans using industry-standard tools.
• Research emerging threats and communicate actionable risk insights to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with IT and development departments to track and enforce remediation SLAs.
• Develop, document, and improve vulnerability management policies and compliance workflows.
• Support incident response efforts through specialized vulnerability analysis.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency with vulnerability scanning platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7.
• Strong understanding of security principles within cloud and hybrid architectures.
• Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple security workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in vulnerability management, penetration testing, or threat management.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or CIS.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, Security+, CEH).
