Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Virtualization & Infrastructure Project Engineer to join our team in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka. In this role, you will plan, organize, coordinate, and track activities essential for developing, deploying, and upgrading both software and hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Virtualization Management: Build and maintain Windows/Linux VMs on ESX hosts; manage capacity changes including Vmotion and resource allocation (CPU/Memory/Disk).
• Project Coordination: Contribute to IT projects, coordinate deployments, ensure adherence to established deadlines, and troubleshoot issues while preventing recurrence.
• Tech Stack Proficiency: Utilize tools such as VMware, Cosmic, LAPS, ServiceNow (SMC), and Microsoft Clustering. Experience with Citrix environments is a plus.
• Operations & Support: Resolve project-specific issues, document processes, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support incident/problem management procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred).
• Experience Level: 3-5 years of experience planning and organizing infrastructure activities.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of x86 hardware, TCP/IP networking concepts, Active Directory, PowerShell scripting, Avamar backups, and Change Management processes.
• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with peer teams and customers on complex projects in India.
