Vice President

We’re seeking an experienced future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our ENTERPRISE RISK ENGINEERING team. This position is located in Pune (with a Chennai office presence).

In this leadership role, you will make a significant impact by:

• Designing and developing high-scale applications using Python, PySpark, Flask, Angular, Node.js, and related UI technologies.
• Ensuring the highest standards of code quality, security, scalability, maintainability, and performance for enterprise risk solutions.
• Implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices utilizing Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube, Jira, Git, and advanced Security & Performance Testing tools.
• Led efforts in agile/POD environments to deliver complex features that meet strict business timelines.
• Serving as a key technical communicator with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into innovative engineering solutions.

• 12+ years of total software development industry experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• A strong commitment to hybrid/on-site collaboration; you must be an advocate for working from office alongside your team.
• 5+ years of deep hands-on experience in Python ecosystems (PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, Flask, Fast API).
• 1+ years of practical expertise with Frontend stacks including Angular, Node.js, NPM, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Solid experience integrating messaging systems like MQ and Kafka, plus other enterprise integration solutions.
• 5+ years mastering SQL Server alongside a deep understanding of big data architectures (Hadoop/Spark).
• Extensive background in CI/CD and DevOps toolchains for security scanning, stress testing, and performance optimization.
• At least 5 years of specific experience within the Banking industry, preferably with Trading & Risk domain knowledge.
• Familiarity with internal financial processes, policies, and business domains related to risk management.
• Mandatory: 1+ year using AI-based development tools (Windsurf, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for productivity enhancement.
• Proven ability to leverage AI/LLMs effectively for code generation, debugging, and workflow improvements.
• Solid experience navigating Public or Private cloud environments with a strong grasp of related concepts.
• Expert-level Debugging skills capable of leading incident response in production environments.
• 3+ years driving delivery within Agile/POD frameworks using Scrum/Kanban methodologies.
