Vice President

BNY Mellon is seeking a Vice President, AI / Machine Learning Software Engineer for our Pune, Maharashtra, India location. This role requires a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, along with over 12 years of relevant experience. Candidates will need a strong foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, statistics, and optimization, coupled with proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Extensive hands-on experience with Python and PyTorch for building and training ML/DL models is essential. A deep understanding of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques is required, along with experience in model evaluation, tuning, and deployment in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is also important. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of AI/ML solutions.
