Ansys is seeking a talented Validation/Verification Senior Engineer with expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Python for our Pune, India location. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of Ansys CFD software, a cornerstone of modern engineering simulation.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Specify, write, and maintain comprehensive test cases and scripts for Ansys CFD software.
- Perform functional, application, regression, and performance testing in both manual and automated environments.
- Investigate and analyze potential causes of software issues, collaborating with technical specialists to resolve them.
- Create test plans, participate in defect management, and contribute to the tracking of testing metrics.
- Apply standard testing techniques and procedures, ensuring compliance with company development and quality processes.
- Work across diverse computing environments, including Windows, Linux, and high-performance computing systems.
- Assist with validation and verification studies to confirm product accuracy and reliability.

What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience, or MS with no experience.
- Strong background in numerical methods and algorithms commonly used in CFD.
- Hands-on experience with CFD software and solving engineering problems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, and familiarity with both Linux and Windows platforms.
- Experience in large-scale commercial software testing and verification environments.
