Full Job Description
Deccan Events is seeking a dynamic and skilled UX/UI Designer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. This is a Full-time, Permanent position requiring 3-7 years of hands-on experience.
We operate within the innovative fields of SaaS, Platforms, Real Estate Tech, and Event Tech. Our ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing and building best-in-class user experiences by seamlessly integrating user-centric UI/UX design, high-performance frontend development, and modern AI tools with UX optimization frameworks.
Role Objective
You will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of the user experience, encompassing user research, wireframing, UI design, frontend development, and ongoing UX optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. UI / UX Design (Core Ownership)
- Conduct comprehensive user research, journey mapping, and usability analysis.
- Create detailed wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI designs, and interactive prototypes.
- Build and maintain robust design systems, ensuring consistency across platforms.
- Prioritize accessibility (WCAG standards) and conversion-driven UX.
Tools: Figma (Advanced), FigJam, Adobe XD / Sketch (bonus), Protopie / Framer (preferred)
2. Frontend Development
- Convert designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces using React.js / Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Implement responsive layouts, engaging animations, and micro-interactions with a focus on performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with backend teams to integrate APIs seamlessly.
Frameworks & Libraries: Tailwind CSS / CSS Modules / Styled Components, Material UI / ShadCN / Ant Design, Framer Motion / GSAP
3. AI-Powered UX Enhancement (MANDATORY)
- Leverage AI tools to enhance user flows, optimize layouts and CTAs, and generate actionable UX insights.
- Implement smart personalization and predictive UX patterns.
- Utilize AI-assisted design workflows.
AI & UX Tools: ChatGPT / Claude (UX copy, flow optimization), Midjourney / DALL·E (concept visuals), Uizard / Galileo AI / Visily, Hotjar / Clarity + AI heatmap analysis, A/B testing tools with AI recommendations
4. UX Optimization & Analytics
- Analyze user behavior, identify drop-off points, and assess funnel performance using tools like Google Analytics 4, Mixpanel, Hotjar, and VWO/Optimizely.
- Conduct A/B tests and UX experiments to continuously improve engagement, conversion, and retention rates.
5. Collaboration & Ownership
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, backend developers, and marketing teams.
- Translate business goals into intuitive and user-friendly UX.
- Document UX decisions and frontend architecture comprehensively.
Required Skill Set
- UI/UX: Strong UX fundamentals, design thinking, user research, usability testing, design systems, accessibility, and inclusive design.
- Frontend: Proficiency in React.js / Next.js, responsive and mobile-first development, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- AI & Modern UX: Experience with AI-assisted design workflows, data-driven UX optimization, and automation of repetitive design/dev tasks.

This role offers a monthly pay of ₹15,522.60 - ₹30,534.96. A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates must own a laptop for work. The work location is hybrid remote in Hyderabad, Telangana (500081).
