Full Job Description
As a UX Researcher at ServiceNow in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role throughout the product and design lifecycle. You will champion customer needs from discovery to adoption, applying appropriate research techniques to understand user needs and use cases. Collaborating with Product Managers and Designers, you will influence product strategy and roadmaps, validating features and designs through various testing methods. Your responsibilities will include analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights and recommendations, and communicating findings through artifacts like user segments, personas, jobs to be done, and user journeys.
Responsibilities:
- Represent customer needs across the product and design lifecycle.
- Apply appropriate research techniques and methods.
- Engage with customers to understand their product implementations, defining user needs and use cases.
- Partner with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy.
- Validate feature and design direction through testing.
- Analyze and synthesize research data to generate actionable insights.
- Communicate findings through user segments, personas, jobs to be done, and user journeys.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience leveraging or thinking about integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
- Basic experience applying customer-centered research techniques to product definition and design.
- Understanding of planning and executing research studies, including sample plans and data collection methods.
- A portfolio showcasing research that influenced insights or experiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience conducting customer-centered research.
- Experience developing insightful questions for diverse user groups.
- General knowledge of user interface design, usability evaluation, task analysis, and experimental design.
- Experience with online surveys and qualitative research techniques.
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and business audiences.
- Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts.
