UX Product Designer

About the Role

As a Lead UX Product Designer at Dash Technologies Inc, you will be instrumental in shaping user-centric digital products that resonate with both local Indian market sensibilities and global best practices. Operating from our Ahmedabad office, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business and user challenges through innovative design thinking and rapid prototyping. Your work will ensure that every project delivers a positive impact for clients and users, aligning with Dash Technologies' mission to provide outstanding digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional Indian and global teams to craft engaging and intuitive user experiences, employing iterative Lean UX and agile design methodologies.
• Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to thoroughly understand end-user requirements, translating these insights into actionable and innovative design concepts.
• Develop comprehensive workflows, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and design assets, specifically tailored for diverse user bases across mobile and web platforms, considering regional device preferences.
• Conduct rigorous heuristic and usability evaluations across the Dash product suite to identify areas for improvement within the specific context of the Indian digital landscape.
• Effectively present design ideas through detailed specifications, mockups, and compelling storytelling in meetings with both local and international teams.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation, while also supporting local best practices in product delivery.
• Stay abreast of emerging UX/UI trends, user behaviors, government accessibility regulations, and advancements in design technology within the Indian market.
• Champion user research initiatives within the Indian market, guiding user studies, behavioral analytics, and establishing continuous feedback loops.
• Propose impactful enhancements by actively monitoring local market analytics, challenging existing assumptions, and driving iterative improvements.
• Maintain and contribute to Dash Technologies' design frameworks, ensuring consistency across projects in India while adhering to global standards.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation within Dash India, actively mentoring junior designers and contributing to overall team success.

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX/Product Designer, with a proven track record of impactful contributions, preferably within the IT, SaaS, or digital services sectors.
• Proficiency in industry-standard UX tools, with a preference for Figma, but also experienced with Sketch, Adobe CC, Axure, InVision, UXPin, and Balsamiq, relevant to client workflows.
• Deep understanding of interactive design, usability principles, and accessibility standards pertinent to the Indian digital landscape, including mobile-first and responsive/adaptive design.
• A strong portfolio or work samples showcasing user-centric solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering products for diverse user audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering enterprise/IT products for US or global clients.
