UX Engineer

About the Role:

As a UX Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our application experiences. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success and Design Teams to develop prototypes and deliver engaging, innovative solutions. Your responsibilities will include gathering and interpreting customer feedback to drive continuous improvement, analyzing customer issues with UI developers to deliver effective solutions, and supporting core product UI developers in building and maintaining user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop reusable, responsive, and maintainable UI components.
• Optimize user interfaces for performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Address bugs, UI polish, and visual enhancements for a refined user experience.
• Learn from and contribute to a team of talented engineers with diverse backgrounds.
• Utilize strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing modern web applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Expert-level proficiency in CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid, animations, transitions, custom variables, media queries).
• Experience resolving UI inconsistencies, cross-browser challenges, and responsive layout issues.
• Ability to refactor and enhance existing UI code for scalability and maintainability.
• Skill in building adaptive layouts for seamless performance across varied screen sizes.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Strong passion for user-centered design and design thinking methodology.
• Understanding of the energy or utilities domain.
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools and methods.
• Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, and InVision.
