UX Designer

Resident Interface is seeking a passionate UX Designer to join our growing Product & Technology team in Pune, India. You will play a crucial role in building a unified product platform that enhances both internal operations and external customer experiences within the rental housing delinquency management sector. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in our Pune office.

As a key member of a cross-functional product squad, you will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery to launch. Your responsibilities will include crafting intuitive wireframes, developing high-fidelity designs, and ensuring our web and mobile platforms are cohesive, user-friendly, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end user experiences across web and mobile platforms, encompassing ideation, user flows, and detailed UI execution.
• Create clear wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Contribute to and maintain our design system, developing reusable UI components for product consistency and scalability.
• Specialize in designing intuitive workflows for complex, data-heavy dashboards and enterprise SaaS tools.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers to ensure smooth design handoffs and high-quality implementation.
• Engage in user research and discovery sessions, incorporating user feedback to enhance usability and clarity.
• Clearly communicate design rationale, user journey decisions, and trade-offs to cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 4 years of UX/UI design experience, preferably within B2B SaaS environments.
• Proven experience designing dashboards and data-rich enterprise applications.
• In-depth expertise in Figma, including mastery of shared libraries, components, variants, auto layout, and version control.
• Experience in building and evolving design systems.
• A strong understanding of software development processes (frontend frameworks, APIs, system constraints) to create practical, implementable designs.
• Comfort working within Agile sprint methodologies with fast-paced product teams.
• Solid grasp of visual design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, layout systems, and interaction patterns.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• A portfolio showcasing strong problem-solving skills, thoughtful UX thinking, and polished UI execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience designing internal operations tools or workflow-intensive applications.
• Familiarity with analytics visualization and information architecture best practices.
• Exposure to accessibility standards and responsive design frameworks.
