Full Job Description
US Federal Contracts Support Analyst - Remote
Kynatech Systems is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated US Federal Contracts Support Analyst to provide comprehensive compliance, reporting, and administrative support for U.S. federal government contracts. This remote role requires collaboration with a U.S.-based team to ensure strict adherence to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other critical government contracting requirements. The position requires the ability to work a night shift from 6 PM to 3 AM, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Review & Compliance: Assist in reviewing federal contract documents, task orders, and amendments. Identify and summarize applicable FAR/DFARS clauses and compliance obligations. Support subcontractor due diligence and ensure required flow-down clauses are communicated and documented.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare compliance trackers, audit files, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support U.S. reporting obligations including eSRS, FSRS, subcontracting plans, and EEO/OFCCP reporting. Maintain organized contract repositories and document management systems.
- Audit & Monitoring Support: Assist with internal reviews and external audits (e.g., DCAA, DCMA). Track deliverables, certifications, and contract obligations to ensure timely compliance.
- Proposal & Pre-Award Support: Review solicitations (RFPs/RFQs) for relevant FAR/DFARS clauses. Prepare compliance matrices and checklists for proposal teams.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Support: Coordinate with U.S. contracts, compliance, legal, and procurement teams. Provide data, documentation, and compliance insights as requested.
- Onboarding Coordination (Administrative Focus): Coordinate onboarding schedules and documentation for new subcontractors, vendors, and project team members. Ensure required forms, system access requests, and administrative tasks are completed on time. Serve as a point of contact for onboarding logistics, liaising with HR, procurement, and contracts teams. Maintain onboarding trackers and distribute status updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in contracts, compliance, or coordinating with legal teams on contract terms, clauses, and risk, with a preference for experience with U.S. federal contracts.
- Good understanding of FAR, DFARS, and U.S. federal contracting principles.
- Familiarity with compliance areas such as EEO, Service Contract Act, export controls, and cybersecurity requirements is a plus.
- Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with contract management tools (e.g., SharePoint, SAP Ariba, Deltek Costpoint).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work the EST Time zone (9 AM - 5 PM) is mentioned as a preference, however, the primary requirement is the night shift schedule (6 PM to 3 AM Mon-Fri).
- Prior experience supporting U.S. federal contracts in an offshore/outsourcing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of ITAR/EAR export compliance restrictions is advantageous.
- Exposure to proposal compliance reviews for government bids is beneficial.
This is a remote position requiring a dedicated night shift work schedule.
