UI/UX Developer

TurboHire is looking for talented UI/UX Engineers to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting seamless, intuitive, and mobile-friendly experiences for our recruitment platform. Your work will directly contribute to product adoption and customer satisfaction, especially as recruiters and candidates increasingly engage on mobile devices.

We utilize a core technology stack including React, Material UI, Figma, CSS3, and JavaScript to bring designs to life, ensuring consistency and high performance across both web and mobile platforms. This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, mobile-first UIs using React, Material UI, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, production-ready components.
• Ensure a consistent user experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to refine mobile flows, gestures, and overall usability.
• Optimize UI performance, accessibility, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
• Contribute to and maintain our Material UI design system with reusable components.
• Partner with backend teams for seamless integration with REST APIs.
• Participate in usability testing and design reviews, iterating quickly based on feedback.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with React and Material UI.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), CSS3, and HTML5.
• Proven experience designing and implementing mobile-first, responsive interfaces.
• Proficiency in using Figma for design handoff and iteration.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, including accessibility, navigation flow, and touch-friendly layouts.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and agile development workflows.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a dynamic startup environment, and work effectively.

Good to Have

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of progressive web apps (PWAs) or mobile-friendly performance optimization.
• Exposure to user research or analytics-driven UX improvements.
