UI/UX Designer

CittaAI is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This is a full-time, permanent position focused on crafting exceptional user experiences for web and mobile applications.

About The Role

As a UI/UX Designer at CittaAI, you will own the complete design journey, from understanding product requirements and user needs to delivering intuitive and visually polished interfaces. You will collaborate closely with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to ensure the final product aligns with the design vision and meets user expectations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on solving UX challenges, designing modern interfaces, building interactive prototypes, and working collaboratively with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Design Ownership

• Understand product requirements, business goals, and stakeholder inputs.
• Translate requirements into user goals, user flows, and interface solutions.
• Create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes for web and mobile applications.
• Design modern, visually balanced, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Review implemented designs and support QA to ensure design accuracy.

Mobile-First UI Design

• Design intuitive and responsive interfaces for iOS and Android applications.
• Adhere to platform guidelines such as Apple Human Interface Guidelines and Material Design.
• Create adaptive layouts for various screen sizes.
• Maintain usability, visual consistency, and accessibility across platforms.

High-Fidelity Visual Design

• Design UI systems, screens, and reusable components using Figma or Adobe XD.
• Create visually rich layouts with strong design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, grids, color systems, and visual hierarchy.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop for advanced visual assets, editing, masking, and compositing.
• Ensure designs are clean, scalable, and development-ready.

Prototyping and Interaction Design

• Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate user flows and screen transitions.
• Design micro-interactions and motion concepts.
• Use tools such as Figma Advanced Prototyping, Framer, or similar platforms to validate design ideas.
• Present design concepts clearly to stakeholders and internal teams.

Developer Collaboration

• Prepare clear design specifications, assets, and handoff documentation for developers.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to minimize implementation gaps.
• Support developers during the build phase by clarifying design behavior, spacing, responsiveness, and interaction details.
• Ensure the final product accurately reflects the intended design vision.

Required Skills And Experience

Design Tools

• Strong proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, including non-destructive editing, masking, compositing, and image enhancements.
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator is a plus.

UX and Design Fundamentals

• Strong understanding of wireframing, user flows, and information architecture.
• Good knowledge of usability principles and user-centered design.
• Excellent visual design sense with attention to typography, spacing, color, layout, and consistency.
• Ability to create clean, structured, and intuitive user experiences.

Mobile Design Awareness

• Experience designing mobile application interfaces.
• Understanding of responsive and adaptive design across devices.
• Familiarity with mobile development frameworks such as Flutter or React Native is helpful.
• Ability to design with mobile usability, gestures, and platform patterns in mind.

Prototyping and Motion

• Ability to create clickable and interactive prototypes.
• Basic understanding of motion design and micro-interactions.
• Exposure to tools such as Lottie, Adobe After Effects, or similar tools is an advantage.

Technical Awareness

• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of responsive design principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers and understand technical limitations.
• Experience in design handoff and developer collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI-assisted design tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar tools.
• Ability to blend modern UI design with cultural, traditional, or regional aesthetics.
• Exposure to scalable design systems, component libraries, and UI documentation.
• Interest in emerging design trends, AI tools, and product experience improvements.
