Job Title: UI/UX Designer (GenAI & Prototyping)

Signzy, a digital trust system provider in Bengaluru, is seeking an ambitious UI/UX Designer to join its tech-savvy team. This role is crucial for pushing design into functional front-end prototypes using Generative AI.

The Role

This position sits at the intersection of design, business, and AI-assisted development. You will report to the Head of Design and work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Sales to understand client needs and deliver exceptional interfaces. You will apply a strong UX mindset to adapt enterprise design systems or conceptualize new UIs. A key aspect of this role involves using GenAI tools to generate working HTML/CSS/JS and bridge the gap to no-code platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design & UX Problem Solving

• Design intuitive, high-quality user interfaces for client projects and internal products.
• Adapt and build upon existing client Design Systems, ensuring brand consistency while improving user flows.
• Translate complex business requirements into user-centric wireframes, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups.

GenAI & Rapid Prototyping

• Utilize Generative AI tools to generate, iterate, and troubleshoot foundational HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Transform static designs into working, interactive prototypes using GenAI and design-to-code pipelines.
• Ensure generated code or components are easily adaptable into in-house no-code environments.

Client-Facing & Collaboration

• Act as the design voice in client meetings, partnering with Project Teams.
• Confidently present design work on client calls, defending design decisions with UX principles and data, while remaining receptive to feedback.
• Collaborate with the Head of Design to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and innovation.
• Pivot seamlessly between external client projects and internal product design sprints.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• 12 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design, preferably in a startup, agency, or fast-paced tech environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a solid grasp of UX principles, UI aesthetics, and experience with design systems.
• AI Resourcefulness: Proven experience prompting GenAI tools to output and debug HTML, CSS, and basic JS.
• Client Empathy & Backbone: Ability to communicate clearly, empathize with client needs, and tactfully defend design choices.
• Tool Mastery: Deep expertise in Figma, coupled with knowledge of AI design/dev assistants and no-code builders.
• Agility: A get-it-done startup mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
