Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer at Quixta, you will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to create intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and functional websites and dashboards. You will gain hands-on experience in wireframing, prototyping, and crafting compelling UI designs, learning to balance creativity with usability in real-world projects. This position is ideal for an experienced professional looking to contribute, learn, and develop into a well-rounded designer.

Key Responsibilities

User Experience Design

• Assist in user research, developing user flows, and understanding user needs.
• Support the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and mockups under senior guidance.
• Collaborate with senior designers and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective user experiences.

User Interface Design

• Design clean, visually engaging interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
• Ensure designs are responsive and user-friendly across various devices and screen sizes.
• Work closely with developers to guarantee accurate design implementation.

Collaboration and Growth

• Engage with cross-functional teams, including content and development, to deliver cohesive projects.
• Maintain curiosity and stay updated with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Contribute innovative ideas during brainstorming sessions and team discussions.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

• Demonstrated experience as a UI/UX or web designer, with a portfolio showcasing website and product design projects.
• Proficiency in Figma; knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
• A foundational understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.
• Exceptional attention to detail, creativity, and a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Familiarity with web and product design best practices, including accessibility and usability standards.
• Prior experience working with developers or within a digital agency setting.
