About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a UI/UX Designer and Developer. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing excellent technical support to our clients. Your responsibilities will include managing customer inquiries, analyzing and resolving software issues, and ensuring client satisfaction through effective communication and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and effective technical support to customers through various channels, including email, phone, and our ticketing system.
- Collaborate effectively with programmers and other technical teams.
- Address and resolve client inquiries with a focus on technical assistance.
- Diagnose software issues reported by customers, determine root causes, and implement solutions or workarounds.
- Guide customers through troubleshooting processes to resolve software-related problems.
- Assist with database maintenance tasks.
- Test new software updates, providing valuable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Report software bugs to the development team and monitor their resolution status.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management regarding issues and progress.
- Collect and relay customer feedback on software usability, performance, and features to the relevant internal teams.
- Provide customers with training and guidance on leveraging software features effectively.
- Cultivate and foster strong, long-term relationships with clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in technical support, particularly within the software industry, is preferred. However, enthusiastic freshers are also encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ERP software is essential.
- A solid understanding of software development processes and methodologies.
- While comprehensive software training will be provided, strong grasping and explaining abilities are necessary.
