UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level UI/UX Designer to join our team on a full-time basis in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and QA to transform user needs into polished interfaces. Your responsibilities will include interaction design, prototyping, and delivering detailed assets and specifications for implementation by our development team. This role emphasizes practical UX research, accessibility, responsive design, and a pragmatic approach to design implementation within modern front-end technology stacks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user experiences for web applications, encompassing user research, wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and final asset creation.
• Collaborate with React.js/Redux developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation.
• Create responsive layouts and component specifications, providing HTML/CSS guidance for consistent UI implementation.
• Develop interactive prototypes to validate user flows and effectively communicate behaviors to stakeholders.
• Conduct usability testing, synthesize feedback, and iterate on designs to improve key performance metrics.
• Maintain and enhance UI component libraries, style guides, and design system documentation.
• Integrate accessibility best practices (WCAG) and performance considerations into all designs.
• Clearly communicate design rationale, present work to cross-functional teams, and provide support during the development handoff process.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of professional UI/UX design experience specifically for web applications.
• A strong portfolio showcasing visual design, interaction design, and responsive web design work.
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a good understanding of React.js/Redux integration constraints.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and applying research findings to design improvements.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and an understanding of front-end performance implications.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working within agile product development teams.
