UI/UX Design Intern

About the Role

Werq Labs Pvt Ltd is seeking a motivated UI/UX Design Intern to join our team in Sanpada, Navi Mumbai. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in user interface and user experience design within a dynamic tech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating wireframes, interactive prototypes, and design mockups using Figma to visualize user flows and interface behaviors.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and senior designers to translate product requirements into intuitive and seamless user experiences.
• Conduct user research and behavioral analysis, including the interpretation of heatmaps and usage tracking data, to inform and validate design decisions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of UI design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure design consistency across all products.
• Support the creation of visual aids such as storyboards, moodboards, user journey maps, and comprehensive documentation to clearly communicate design concepts.
• Participate actively in usability testing sessions and integrate feedback received into iterative design improvements.
• Apply accessibility principles and responsive layout practices to ensure designs are inclusive and adaptable across various devices.
• Stay informed about the latest UI/UX trends, emerging design tools, and relevant frameworks.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Mandatory proficiency in Figma; basic familiarity with Sketch or Adobe XD is considered a plus.
• A solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design concepts, such as Flexbox and Grid, is beneficial.
• Strong visualization and storytelling capabilities, particularly in developing journey maps and prototypes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills essential for working within a cross-functional team.
• A creative mindset complemented by analytical problem-solving skills and a keen attention to usability details.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, BSC IT, or a related field.

Work Location: In person, Sanpada, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

Pay: ₹1,500.00 per month
