UI Software Engineer - Angular
Labcorp is seeking a talented UI Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnataka. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, responsive user interfaces using Angular. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and domain experts to create seamless, user-centered experiences that drive our healthcare solutions forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces with a focus on Angular.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Build reusable, modular, and scalable front-end components.
- Ensure optimal application performance and adherence to accessibility standards.
- Contribute to the design and development of innovative healthcare solutions, including LIMS systems.
- Integrate healthcare standards such as FHIR or open EHR into front-end applications.
- Uphold best practices in front-end development, including performance optimization and secure coding.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing among engineering peers.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 4 years in front-end development, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Angular.
- Healthcare IT: Prior experience with healthcare-related applications or systems is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, RxJS, and state management tools.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
- Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with consuming RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend teams on data models.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing tools (Protractor, Cypress).
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
- A genuine passion for understanding the domain to deliver impactful solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a user-first approach.
