UI Developer

We are seeking a skilled UI Developer with excellent knowledge and hands-on experience in HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS. Proficiency in mobile cross-browser frameworks such as jQuery Mobile, PhoneGap, and Titanium is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaborative and communication skills, enabling them to actively participate in design meetings, contribute to design strategy, and document new features, enhancements, and fixes. Responsibilities include creating simple, interactive, and user-centric business flows for complex scenarios, adhering to agile methodologies for iterative development, and maintaining a development standards library with best-practice front-end coding approaches.

You will be responsible for accurately estimating task completion times and delivering quality work within deadlines. Adherence to standard quality development practices, including code versioning, manual/automated testing (Selenium), and coding standards, is expected. A strong understanding of the latest tools, techniques, and business flows, such as eCommerce workflows, AJAX frameworks, Agile Methodologies, and Responsive web-flows, is crucial. Continuous learning, mentoring, and career development in line with organizational objectives are key. A strong sense of creativity is highly valued.

Required technical skills include working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/GIMP, Adobe Flash/OpenLaszlo, and Adobe Illustrator/Xara Xtreme. Strong proficiency in HTML/XHTML/HTML5 is a must, along with extensive experience in responsive development and familiarity with frameworks like Zurb/Foundation 5/Bootstrap. Excellent command of CSS, including object-oriented CSS, CSS3, transitions, transforms, and keyframe animations, is mandatory. Exposure to HTML5 native features such as canvas, SVG animations, video/audio tags, local caching, WebSockets, and graphics/animation capabilities is required. Experience in writing cross-browser animations using CSS3 is essential, with extensive knowledge of CSS3 being a prerequisite. The role involves contributing to user experience by bringing the internet closer to end users and speeding up their online interactions. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely and independently are also necessary.
