UI Designer

We are seeking a talented UI Designer to craft beautiful and intuitive digital interfaces. You will collaborate closely with UX leads and business analysts to translate user requirements into functional and visually cohesive designs. Your primary focus will be on creating inclusive, accessible, and responsive interfaces optimized for cross-device usability, ensuring a seamless user experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and competitor analysis to inform design decisions and align with product goals.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and UX designers to conceptualize and implement innovative solutions.
• Define aesthetic elements, including color palettes, and design core UI components like buttons and icons.
• Determine and implement the interactive properties of various UI elements.
• Develop wireframes and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate the intended look and feel of the UI.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive UI style guide to ensure design consistency across the product.
• Articulate and defend design choices, grounding them in established design principles and UI standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to iteratively improve the interface based on usability testing and user feedback.

Required Skills and Expertise

• A strong portfolio showcasing your design work is essential for interview presentation.
• Proven experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, and InVision.
• Deep understanding of visual design principles, interaction design principles, UX design principles, and responsive design methodologies.
• Familiarity with information architecture and designing for inclusivity and accessibility (WCAG guidelines).
• Demonstrate exceptional creativity, strong visual design skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively present designs and advocate for solutions to diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3 is advantageous.
• Experience within an agile/scrum development environment is a plus.
