Typescript Software Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled TypeScript Software Engineer (Contractor) to join one of Hired's top-tier AI client projects. Working remotely from anywhere, you will apply expertise in TypeScript, Python, Rust, and Go to develop high-quality training data for next-generation Artificial Intelligence systems.

Your Impact

• Pioneer the human intelligence layer that powers global AI advancements across critical domains including finance, healthcare, and engineering.
• Lead production-level development and refactoring within complex multi-language codebases (TypeScript/Python/Rust/Go).

Key Responsibilities

• Drive modernization projects: Execute migrations, rewrites, and upgrades across multiple programming language ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce, evaluate, and refine human-generated data for AI training models.
• Maintain rigorous software engineering standards including clean code architecture, maintainability, and comprehensive documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges spanning the full TypeScript, Python, Rust, and Go stacks.
• Participate in active code reviews to ensure sustained high-quality output.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• TypeScript: Proficiency in production-level development and modernization efforts.
• Python: Strong expertise including refactoring capabilities and migration to modern standards.
• Rust or Go: Familiarity with at least one, demonstrating the ability to contribute effectively to multi-language projects.
• General Engineering: Proven experience in clean code practices, comprehensive documentation, and resolving complex technical issues across diverse stacks.
