Full Stack .Net Developer – Tax Senior – TTT

As a Senior Full Stack .Net Developer within EY's core Tax practice, you will leverage your deep tax technical knowledge, exceptional database, and programming skills to create and maintain advanced solutions for our client-serving Tax professionals.

The Opportunity

This Senior Developer role is within the Solution Delivery pillar, focused on the development and testing of solutions supporting the GDS Tax Practice. We are seeking a Tax Senior with expertise in Full Stack .Net Development to join the TTT team. This is a prime opportunity to be part of a pioneering firm and significantly contribute to the growth of a new service offering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of solutions in accordance with Solution Development pioneer standards.
• Estimate technical effort, develop work breakdown structures, identify risks, and propose solutions at a solution level.
• Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team, with peers, and across different teams and stakeholders.
• Provide input to application development/engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Proactively identify, define, and solve complex problems, working collaboratively with the team to select and implement the most effective solutions, clearly articulating both the problem and proposed solution.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Proficiency in Full Stack Web Development with .Net and .Net Core.
• Experience with MVC, Single Page Applications, Design Patterns, TypeScript (Angular or Vue), Web API, and Entity Framework / ADO.Net.
• Strong SQL command, stored procedure, and database performance tuning skills.
• Exposure to third-party controls such as Telerik or Kendo UI.
• Working knowledge of Development Methodologies like Agile.
• Familiarity with Version Control using GIT/TFVC. Exposure to CI/CD and Microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is a significant advantage.
• Robust technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing applications through their complete lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills, including oral and written, and an awareness of new and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
• Experience providing supervision and direction to team members and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience.
• Management experience is a plus.
