Join EY in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India as a Senior Java Stack Developer on a contractor basis. In this role, you will contribute to building exceptional experiences and a better working world. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 4-7 years of experience in backend development, database management, and API development using the Java technology stack. Your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL Server will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications. You will develop and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot, design and implement RESTful APIs, and integrate with frontend systems. Your responsibilities will include working with SQL Server, writing optimized queries and stored procedures, and ensuring data integrity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features is essential. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and optimize application performance and scalability. Adherence to security and compliance best practices in API and database development is also a key requirement. Required skills include strong Java programming, Spring Boot expertise, solid SQL Server experience, experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, understanding of microservices architecture and cloud deployments, knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, experience with Git/Bitbucket, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is considered a plus.
