Full Stack .Net Developer – Tax Senior – TTT at EY, Noida

EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Tax Technology team is dedicated to developing, implementing, and integrating cutting-edge technology solutions to support clients and engagement teams. As a vital part of EY's core Tax practice, you will cultivate deep tax technical knowledge, alongside exceptional database and programming skills, to create and maintain innovative solutions for our tax professionals across India and globally.

The Senior Developer role is situated within the Solution Delivery pillar, focusing on the development and testing of solutions that empower the GDS Tax Practice. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading firm and play an instrumental role in the growth of a new service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and development of solutions as defined by the Solution Development pioneer.
• Estimate technical effort, define work breakdown structures, identify risks, and propose solutions at a solution level.
• Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team, with peers, and with stakeholders across various teams.
• Contribute to the evolution of application development/engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
• Proactively identify potential problems, define issues, analyze root causes, collaborate with the team to find solutions, and implement the most appropriate one. Clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions.
• Adopt a proactive approach to identifying issues, presenting solutions and options, and leading them to resolution where appropriate.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Proficiency in Full Stack Web Development with a focus on .Net and .Net Core.
• Experience with MVC, Single Page Applications, Design Patterns, Typescript (Angular or Vue), Web API, and Entity Framework / ADO.Net.
• Strong SQL command skills, including stored procedures and database performance tuning.
• Exposure to third-party controls such as Telerik or Kendo UI.
• Working knowledge of Development Methodologies like Agile.
• Familiarity with Version Control using GIT/TFVC. Exposure to CI/CD and Microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is a significant advantage.
• Robust technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing applications through logical lifecycles for project portfolios.
• Excellent communication skills and an awareness of new and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and oversight.
• Experience providing supervision and direction to team members and staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience.
• Management experience is considered a plus.
