EY's Global Delivery Services (GDS) Tax Technology team is seeking a Senior Full Stack .Net Developer for the TTT initiative. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and integrating innovative technology solutions to enhance services for our clients and engagement teams. As a key member of the Tax practice, you will leverage deep tax technical knowledge and strong database and programming skills to create and maintain cutting-edge solutions.

The Senior Developer position is within the Solution Delivery pillar, responsible for the development and testing of solutions that support the GDS Tax Practice. This is an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering firm and contribute significantly to the growth of a new service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical design and development of solutions as defined by the Solution Development pioneer.
• Estimate technical effort, create work breakdown structures, identify risks, and propose solutions at a solution level.
• Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication within the team, with peers, and stakeholders across different teams.
• Contribute to application development/engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
• Proactively identify potential problems, define issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with the team to implement the most appropriate solutions. Clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutions.
• Take a proactive approach to identifying issues, presenting solutions and options, and leading them to resolution.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Proficiency in Full Stack Web Development with .Net and .Net Core.
• Experience with MVC, Single Page Applications, Design Patterns, TypeScript (Angular or Vue), Web API, and Entity Framework / ADO.Net.
• Strong SQL command skills, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
• Exposure to third-party controls like Telerik or Kendo UI.
• Working knowledge of Development Methodologies, particularly Agile.
• Familiarity with Version Control using GIT/TFVC.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is a significant advantage.
• Strong technical skills in designing, developing, and implementing applications throughout their logical lifecycles.
• Good communication skills and awareness of new and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work with limited direction and oversight.
• Experience providing supervision and direction to team members and staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 4-8 years of relevant experience.
• Management experience is a plus.
