Join EY's GDS Tax Technology team in Kolkata, West Bengal, as a Full Stack .Net Developer – Tax Senior. This role is instrumental in developing, implementing, and integrating innovative technology solutions for our clients and engagement teams. You will leverage deep tax technical knowledge, outstanding database, and programming skills to maintain and develop cutting-edge solutions.

As part of the Solution Delivery pillar, you will be responsible for the technical design, development, and testing of solutions that support the GDS Tax Practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a pioneer firm and contribute to the growth of a new service offering.

Key responsibilities include technical design and development, estimating technical effort, work breakdown structure, risk assessment, and stakeholder management. You will ensure adherence to methodologies, monitor KPIs, and provide input to application development best practices. Proactive problem identification and solutioning are essential, along with clear articulation of issues and proposed resolutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Full Stack Web Developer skills in .Net and .Net Core, with experience in MVC, Single Page Applications, Design Patterns, Typescript (Angular or Vue), Web API, and Entity Framework/ADO.Net. Proficiency in SQL commands, stored procedures, and database performance tuning is required. Exposure to 3rd party controls (Telerik, Kendo UI), Agile methodologies, and version control using GIT/TFVC are important. Experience with CI/CD, microservices, and the Azure Cloud platform is a plus.

We are looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience, with 4-8 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree and management experience are preferred.

Ideally, you will also have thorough knowledge of the Tax or Finance Domain, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt your work style to collaborate effectively with internal and client team members.
