About the Role:

EY’s Global Delivery Services (GDS) Tax Technology team is focused on developing, implementing, and integrating technology solutions to better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you will develop deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics, and programming skills.

Increasingly complex regulations require tax departments to gather, organize, and analyze more data than ever before. This data often comes from various systems and departments, making efficient and effective handling a significant challenge. EY's GDS Tax Technology team collaborates closely with firm partners, clients, and tax technical subject matter experts to develop technology solutions that enhance value, improve efficiency, and provide clients with market-leading tools for Tax.

GDS Tax Technology works with clients and professionals in areas such as Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. We provide solution architecture, application development, testing, and maintenance support to the global TAX service line.

The Opportunity:

EY is seeking a talented Business Analyst Tax Senior to join our Tax Technology practice in Noida, UP. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering firm and contribute to the growth of a new service offering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Design new computer programs by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts, wireframes, and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
• Effectively communicate program strategies and plans to senior leaders and negotiate quality solutions.
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming a project team; establishing a project budget.
• Create Epics, User Stories, and Tasks.
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
• Effectively manage changing requirements and perform GAP analysis.
• Review QA test cases and perform Functional and UAT testing.
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Provide user support through documentation, help desk assistance, and training.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

• Experience with technology tools such as Balsamiq, Access, Excel (Advanced), Word, Visio, Jira, TFS, and MS Project.
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum, Scrum Master methodologies, and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Software Engineering / Information Technology / MBA / MCA.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Functional, Data, or Business Analyst.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• Thorough knowledge of the Tax or Finance Domain.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt work style to collaborate effectively with internal and client team members.
