Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer for our Technology & Transformation practice in Delhi. In this role, you will design and develop secure, scalable backend services and microservices that support enterprise operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop secure, scalable backend services and microservices.
• Build and document REST APIs to integrate external and internal systems effectively.
• Implement core business logic, authentication mechanisms, data access layers, and asynchronous processing workflows.
• Write comprehensive unit/integration tests and actively participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Optimize application performance proactively and resolve production issues efficiently.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, observability initiatives, technical documentation creation, and mentorship of junior team members.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree (BE/B. Tech), Master in Computer Applications (MCA), or Master in Technology (M.Tech) required.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Node.js, Python, Microservices architecture, and API Development.
• Demonstrated track record delivering responsibilities relevant to this profile within enterprise or public-sector environments (e.g., government or large-scale e-governance).

Key Technical Skills:

Mandatory: Strong programming fundamentals in Node.js and/or Python; expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, authentication/authorization patterns, integration strategies; proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, caching mechanisms, messaging systems, and asynchronous processing.

Infrastructure & DevOps: Experience with Docker containerization, CI/CD pipelines, logging frameworks, monitoring tools, secure coding practices, and performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in relevant professional or technology areas (preferred but not mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience developing applications for healthcare, health insurance, government sectors, or large-scale e-governance initiatives is highly advantageous.
