Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to define, scope, and deliver world-class products and high-quality features that address critical user needs.
• Translate requirements into robust system architecture and implement code, with a keen focus on performance optimization for handling billions of data rows and serving millions of API requests hourly.
• Take complete ownership of the software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to release.
• Produce and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate efficient onboarding and delivery for other engineers.
• Actively participate in design and code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality code.
• Play a pivotal role in elevating Trendlyne to become a world-class engineering team.
• Develop and iterate on best practices for the development team, ensuring adherence through rigorous code reviews.
• Contribute to cutting-edge technologies including AI products, online backtesting, data visualization, and machine learning as part of the core team.
• Develop and maintain scalable, robust backend systems utilizing Python and the Django framework.
• Possess a strong understanding of web and mobile application performance.
• Mentor junior developers and actively foster skill development within the team.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience with Python and Django.
• A strong understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, and experience with Redis.
• Optional: Experience with web front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
